Sitting in my car in the drizzling rain, admiring the silvery sky and listening to Pachelbel Canon In D while drinking a Stew Leonard's coffee and thinking about Antonina & June & that I'm happy to be home even though I love Hawaii. No one seems to believe I could be happy to be back. But I love Connecticut, too!

WFG: That's because it's late in the season.
Me: Is the season almost over for Meyer lemons?
WFG: Yep.
Me: Ooooh.
WFG: It's a good sign of spring.
Me: Yeah, that's true. That's a good way of looking at it.
The Foam Artist at Borders had a hard time believing me that I'm happy to be back, but I am.

This is hilarious! Today's specials at ION: coconut water served in the shell, quinoa & mesclun salad with avocado & papaya, and coconut cake with lemon frosting.

My mouse feels so weird. And my monitor looks huge and flat! It's cold here. But the crocuses are in bloom, Ruby's getting leaves (!), and there are a billion robins on the back lawn.
